Edit Mode and Editing Tools

Here are some helpful descriptions and information about editing.

  1. At the top of each page is a gray bar.  An example is seen below.  You will use the "radio" button when switching between Published Mode and Edit Mode.   When you are in Edit Mode, your page will display a distinctive, dotted outline of your Articles, Forms, Tables, etc.
      •  When you are in Published Mode, your page will look as it will appear for the site visitor.

   2.    Click the Edit Mode radio button to add, edit, change page properties, or change content.  In Edit Mode, Webtreepro

provides you with several sets of tools:

      •  In the upper left of your screen is the gray Administration drop-down panel.  The dropdown arrow offers access

to all the areas seen below.

      • Under the Administration dropdown are the Pages and Content tools, access to the Library, and to the Date Preview feature.

      • Across the top is the Editing Toolbar, seen below.  These powerful tools are used when working with text, images, and media.  They appear when you are in Edit Mode, and have clicked in an Article, Form, Table, or other Content on your working page.

      • The tools in the second row to the right are the Form icons.  They only appear when you are working in a Form.  The example, above, is in minimized mode.
