Advanced Permissions
|
The Permissions Administration screen will allow you to access
Advanced Permissions.
The Advanced Permissions list enables a role
to have different Permissions.
These are made on a site-by-site basis
which is especially useful when management needs to have some
of its own publishing capabilities on its child sites.
In other words, a role can have different Permissions,
depending on which site, or even, which page is selected. |

|

On the right side of the header is the Advanced Permissions button.
-
Click it, and Webtreepro will bring up the Advanced Permissions screen. An example is seen below. When you select a role from the Choose Role dropdown, the list will change according to the role selected.

-
From the Choose Role drop-down on the left side, select the role to be reviewed or changed.
-
Below the Choose Role is the tree view. Its default selection will be All Sites. Look at the right side of the screen. The Permissions granted to that role will be shown by the checked checkboxes.
-
At All Sites, use the checkboxes to select particular Permissions. You will be giving Permissions to both the Organization and all its Child Sites.
-
To grant Permissions on a site-by-site basis, select each site from the tree view. The name of the site will appear in the right side heading. Use the checkboxes to choose Permissions.
-
Click Apply before going on to the next site. Otherwise, these new assignments will be lost.
-
You can follow the same steps when it's necessary to give specific Permissions to pages. To see more go to the page Page Level Advanced Permissions, or click here.
