Page Level Advanced Permissions

The assignment of Advanced Permissions can go all the way down to one, specific page.  You can even limit a role to an extremely narrow  window.  For example:  If you’ve sold advertising space and want to give the advertiser the ability to directly update a single panel which exists on a single page, you can.  Just create a role that is limited to that page, and to that element

(the ad) on that page.

From the Administration dropdown, located in the gray panel in the upper left of your screen, select Permissions.  The Permissions Administration page will come up.  Click on the "Advanced Permissions"   button to the right of the screen, and it will bring up the Advanced Permissions screen, seen below.

  1. From the tree view on the left, find the site that contains the page to be managed. Click the expand icon [  ].    The tree view will expand to show all the pages within the site.
  2. Select the particular page.  The website only allows those permissions dealing with Pages and Page Elements to be checked..
  3. Select the permissions that will be given.
  4. When complete:
    1. Click "Apply"    to save changes and remain in the Permissions screen.
    2. Click "Done"    to save changes and exit the screen.
    3. Click "Cancel"   to abandon any changes and exit the screen.
