Once at the Properties tab, there are a number of selections that can be made.

Navigate to a page on the website.

Using the List of Pages, which is presented in a treeview, click on the page that you wish to view or set the properties.

If the page is not in view, click on the plus sign next to the page, under which your page is nested. This will cause the list of pages to expand.

Once you have selected a page, the page properties can be set or edited.

Robots:

Follow?: This is the default selection. This is typically the setting you should use.

No Follow?: To make this selection, click on the radio button.

Index?: This is the default selection.

No Index?: To make this selection, click on the radio button. This setting is commonly used for private content, viewable by logged in users only, excluded pages, pages that you do not wish to show up in an organic search.

Menu Name: This is the name of the page as it will appear on the menu buttons.

Exclude this page from the menu: check this box if you wish to not have the page show on the menu.

Page Title: The default page title is the same as the Menu Name. This can be changed to enter something that is more user friendly, or search engine optimized.

Description: This is a short description of the contents of the page, as you wish to have presented on the search engines listing.

META Tags/FavIcon: This item applies to the Home page, only. Click here to enter the Meta Name and Description as provided by the search engine (for example, Google or Yahoo). For additional information on this item, go to the Meta Tag-Google page.

Click on another page from the List of Pages if you wish to edit the properties of another page.

Click  to exit the screen without saving your changes. -
Click  to save changes and exit the screen. |
