Site Login

For every site, there are two modes:

1.       Published view which is what any site visitor will see in their browser.

2.       Administrative view which is accessed via authorized user login.  This view is where all editing and administration occurs.  In order to access the administration privileges for a site, the user must login.

The administrative view provides access to all of the administrative and content management functions.  The scope of the permissions is dictated by the user’s login.

1.       From your Internet browser, go to any page of your site.

2.       Locate the "Login" bug (usually in the lower right corner of your site, below the footer).

3.       Click the Login link on the page.  A login dialog box will be presented:

4.       Enter your  User Name and Password.

5.       Click LoginButton.  Webtreepro will refresh in Published Mode and indicate that you are logged in:

a.       A gray bar appears at the top of the browser window, indicating the logged in user’s First and Last name.

b.      This bar also provides access to Reports, and to switch between Published Mode (shown below) and Edit Mode.
