Content Type

The Content Type screen is where you choose the type of content you are creating.

  1. From the Content Type dropdown, select the type of page element that is to be added.  There are several different types of content, each of which is explained in subsequent sections of this guide:
    1. Article (content you will author using text and images or content you will retrieve from the Library)
    2. Breadcrumb (shows a visitor where they are on the site in relation to other pages above the one they are on)
    3. Data Detail
    4. Data List
    5. Data Review
    6. Form Builder (create your own forms for customer interaction)
    7. Google Analytics (add tags to pages for Google site analytics)
    8. Link List (secondary menus that can point to internal, external pages, or a combination)
    9. Login (for use with Intranet and/or “special customer” pages)
    10. Menu (placement and customization of your main menu)
    11. Section List (to access deep links within your site)
    12. Store Locator (a built in module for locating stores from a parent site)
    13. Custom Modules or Controls  (such as a Menu Bar, Store Locator or Widgets)
  2. For this example, we will focus on adding an Article.  An article can contain any/all of the following items:
    1. Text created in webtreepro (or pasted from another source)
    2. Tables
    3. Images
    4. Flash
    5. HTML Snippets (custom elements of your own design and/or third party widgets)
    6. MP3s
  3. Click  .   Webtreepro will present the Placement screen.
