Content Type

The Content Type page is where you choose a variety of types of Content

needed for your page.

Go to the gray Administration panel to the left of your screen.

Click Add Content.

Webtreepro will bring up

the Add Content wizard. See below.

From the Content Type dropdown, scroll down to the type of Content you want to add. There are many different types of Content, not all are listed here. Each is explained in detail in the following pages. In the meantime, here are some brief descriptions:

1. Article is a "container" you will use when inserting text, images, and other content.

2. Breadcrumb shows visitors where they are on the site in relation to other pages.

3. Form will help you create your own forms for customer responses.

4. Framed Content can be used to display multiple documents (HTML files) on a webpage.

5. Franchises Map 2 shows franchises and their locations.

6. Generic Search Results [with iframe] displays an external page in an iframe and can be used for external search engines.

7. Google Analytics will include Google Analytics on your page.

8. Google Map will add a Google Map displaying the address of the current site which was created in the Administration

Sites section.

9. Link List allows you to build a list of links to pages within the current site or to external URLs.

10. Login is a control that when added to a page, will show a login form. When the user logs in, the control disappears.

11. A Menu appears on a page by using this option. Menus are automatically organized and updated as pages are added

or deleted .

12. News allows news to be brought in from your Library.

13. RSS Reader offers frequently updated syndicated web content (RSS Feed).

14. Scrolling Text enables you to create a dynamic banner.

15. Search Engine is a way to search for words and phrases in your content.

16. Search Engine Results can add a separate page to display the Search Engine Results.

17. Section List will offer quick links to related subjects and/or to following pages.

18. Slide show will display a set of images from your Library on a page.

19. Social Media Buttons will display media badge/buttons.

20. Social Media Buttons will let you customize media badge/buttons

21. Store Locator offers a location and mapping tool which your visitors can use to pinpoint your location.

22. Text Accordion allows hidden text to be extended and viewed.

23. Thumbnail Slideshow allows for a thumbnail display of slides.

1. For an example of adding Content, we will focus on adding a Menu. Click the radio button next to the Menu option.

2. Click Next . Webtreepro will take you to the Placement page where you will choose where to put your

Content. Other sections will follow, such as Details, Publish Dates, Visibility, and Publishing. Depending on the type

of Content you have chosen, there may be additional tabs for you to go through.

3. The most commonly used type of Content is the Article. An Article can contain any or all of the following items:

Adwords
Flash
HTML Snippets (custom elements of your own design and/or third party widgets)
Images
MP3s
Tables
Text created in this website or pasted from another source
