Adding a Video to Your Website

[ProductName] offers you the ability to add a Video to a website page.

Videos can be informative, instructional, amusing, and much more.

Additionally, they will give your webpage a vibrant touch.

You cannot personally host a Video on your webpage, but there are many companies

on the Internet that will do this for you for free.

Just be aware, some companies offer better quality hosting than other companies.

1.   To place a Video, first go to the page where you want the Video to be seen.  The Video's HTML

must be contained in an Article. So, you'll need  to go to the gray panel to the left of your screen,

click Add Content, and select "Article" from the list of Contents.

To review how to add an Article, see the page Add an Article, or click here.

      •      We strongly recommend the Video be placed in a separate and isolated Article that

has no other content in it.

2.   Once the Article has been added, click your cursor inside the Article.  Now, go to the 5th section

of the Editing Toolbar at the top of your screen, and click the "Insert HTML/Java Script" icon.

     3.   The HTML/Java Script Properties window comes up.

   4.   Enter the HTML code.  This is easily done by doing a Ctrl + C to copy the code, and then Ctrl + V to paste the code into the above window.

   5.   Click OK   to save the HTML code, and exit the HTML/JavaScript Properties window.

   6.   An HTML "placeholder” will be seen in the Article when in Edit Mode only.  In Published or Date Preview Mode, the actual Video

         will be in place.

   7.   You may also modify the Width and Height of the frame to best accommodate your Video.  If you have to adjust the HTML, see the

next page, Edit or Delete a Video, or click here.

        • Caution:  If the width of the Video frame is larger than the width of the panel, your page may become distorted.

   8.   To test the Video, you must  be in Published Mode.
