Add a Radio Button

Webtreepro gives you the opportunity to add Radio buttons to your Form.

Radio Buttons are used when you want the customer

to choose one of a limited number of choices.

        For example:

Click if you are Male.   Click if you are Female.

   1.   Once a Form has been added to a page and a Table has been inserted, click the Radio Button icon to see the Radio

         Properties window.  See above.

   2.   Single Radio Button Entry means you are inserting only one button into a section of your Form, but it can become associated

with another Radio Button. See step # 4.

   3.    Import List for Multiple Radio Buttons:  You must have a data source from which to import a list of Radio Buttons.

   4.    Is this button associated with a previously created radio button?  If this box is checked, the dropdown list will offer Radio

Button names that have been previously created, as seen above.  Choose the one that is appropriate.

   5.   Enter a Name:   This is important as it will be used to identify each title of the Form's information. For an example a Name might

be:  Have you shopped with us before?   The visitor will select either Yes or No.

      • When the Form is submitted, Webtreepro places each piece of information under a specific title Name.
      • You can get the Form's data from Reports.  For more about Reports, see the bottom of the page Form Example, or click here.

   6.   Enter a Value:  This is the answer that is put into Reports when the Radio Button is selected.  In the Radio Properties window, the

value is "No" because this is the creation of the "No" Radio Button.  The "Yes" Radio Button has already been created. (Notice the

checked box for Is this button associated with another radio button?)

   7.   Selected:  If Selected is checked, the Radio Button will appear on the Form already checked.  If the visitor disagrees with the

checked Radio Button, he/she can uncheck the button.  Then, the other button automatically becomes checked.

   8.   Click OK   to save.

   9.   Click Cancel    to cancel the entries.
