Add Insert Hidden

Webtreepro allows you the ability to store information

that comes with a submitted Form.

This way, you won't require visitors to "fill out" information

they have already entered at an earlier date.

Here's an example:

PayPal uses Insert Hidden controls in their "Add to Cart" buttons.

These might include the price of the product, the name of the product,

and/or your PayPal user ID.

This information goes to PayPal, so when you are ready to checkout,

PayPal displays a shopping cart with all the products,

their prices, and your user ID.

This makes shopping much simpler for your customer.

   1.  Once you have added a Form to a page, and inserted a Table, click in the Table.  Move your cursor to the section of the

Form where you would like the "Insert Hidden" to be, and click the Insert Hidden icon .  The Hidden Properties window

         will come up.  See above.

   2.   Enter the Name.  This is important as it will be used to identify each title of the Form's information.  For an example: a title

         could be named Insert Hidden

      • When the Form is submitted, Webtreepro places each piece of information under aspecific title Name

      • You can get the Form's data from Reports.  For more about Reports see the bottom of the page Form Examples, or click here.

      • Enter the Value (the information you are requesting).

   3.  Click OK   to save, or click Cancel   to exit without saving.

   4.   When the Insert Hidden is saved, this icon will appear    in Edit Mode, but will remained "hidden"  or invisible in

          Published Mode.
