Adding Form Controls and Editing Forms

Now that you’ve created a new content element for a form, webtreepro provides a series of form controls that you may use in any combination and may configure as needed.  When adding controls, it is important to keep in mind the following:

  • Each control must have a unique identifier.  You may not use the same ID Name for more than one control.  For example, if you need two Address boxes, they should be named Address 1 and Address 2.

  • The IDs that you give to each control are the labels for the email that will be sent when the form is submitted, but NOT the label that appears on the page.  Labeling the form on the page is actually done just using the editor tools.  In other words, a form is a lot like an article in that you can add text, colors, attributes etc using the text editor tools.

  • You may insert form controls into tables as a way of organizing and aligning them.
