   Text Area

 

  1. This control allows for the addition of text but is usually used for more open-ended entries such as comments, special requests, etc.  Once a form has been added to an article, either in a row of a table, or in the article where you wish to place the form element, clicking this control present the Text Area Properties dialog box.
  2. Enter a Name:   this will be used to identify that field in the email which will be sent.
  3. Rows:  this determines how tall the text area will be.  This can be edited after placement..
  4. Columns:  this determines how wide the text are will be.  This can be edited after placement.
  5. Mark this field as required:  when selected, the field must have user entered values.  If the form is submitted without any value, the form refreshes for the user with an indicator they must complete.
  6. Click OK to save.
  7. Click Cancel to cancel the entries.
