Acquiring a Google Analytics Tracking

Enter the URL http://www.google.com/analytics/sign_up.html in your browser. This will take you to a page where you can login to Google. If you don't have a regular Google account already, you can sign up for one.

2. Login, and you will go to the sign in page for Google Analytics. Click the "Sign Up>>" button.

Click on Business Solutions.
Click on Analytics.
Click on Access Analytics >>New to Analytics>>Sign Up Now>>Sign Up.
Next, go to the Analytics: New Account Sign up. A dialog box, shown above, comes up.
Enter the requested information, and click Continue.
The Google Analytics Terms of Service screen comes up. If you accept the terms of service, click Yes, and click Create New Account.
Then, the Tracking Code screen comes up. See below. The Web Property ID is your tracking code. You will need to enter the code in your website. For instructions on how to enter the tracking code in your website, see "Add Tracking Code,"
