Links Information tab:
1. You can now begin to build your links by using the controls on the Links information tab.

If you choose Use external URL, your link will go to another site and to a certain page on that site. To do this, the link's address must be entered in the http:// space.

The internal dropdown arrow located to the right of the External URL, will show you all the pages that are within your site.

Title: For internal pages, the title will be automatically entered when you click on the page in the internal dropdown. You can change this if you want to choose a different name.

Title: For external pages, you will need to give a name to the link.

Next to the textbox containing "http://," is the Dynamic Content icon.  If you click on the icon, the flyout offers you various options. These options allow you to insert selected information that will be displayed as part of the external URL address. This tool is particularly helpful when working with Child sites.

Target:
A. Same Window means it will remain automatically in the same Browser window for the linked URL.
B. New Window will open a new Browser window.

If you want to insert an Image into your Link List, go to the upper right of the tab, click in the gray square, and you'll be taken to your Library where you can select a desired image from one of your files.
A. To review how to search for a file in the Library, click here. The information will be at the bottom of the screen.
B. When you have selected an image, it will appear in the square, and the pixel Width and Height will be displayed. You can
adjust image's size by changing the pixels' setting.

Click the Add button  to add the link. The newly added link will show up in the display panel, Link List, located at the bottom of the window.

2. Repeat these steps until all your links appear in the Link List
display.
The names listed will appear exactly the same way on the linked
pages. If needed, use the directional controls (First, Up, Down,
Last) to change the order of the list. First highlight the page,
then click on a direction. An example of the Link List screen
and directional controls is to the right. |

3. If you would like to include an image in your Link List, you can enter the URL for a link that is to an external image/page.

Give the Link a title.

Click on the "Image" box to go to your Library to select an image to place in the Link List.

Adjust the image's width and height by changing the pixel values.

Click "Add." the image will be included with the other links.
4. If you would like to include an image in your Link List that will bring a visitor to a different page within your site:

Use the dropdown arrow to select the page that is within your site.

Click in the box to go to your Library, and select an image.

Adjust the image's width and height by changing in the pixel values.

Click "Add." The image will be included with the other links.
Common Properties tab
1. Now, you can select the Common Properties tab of the Details screen that is seen below. This is where you can choose how your Link List
will look.
2. There are three choices for positioning your Link List: Vertical, Dropdown, and Horizontal List.

3. As you can see by comparing the three windows, each List Type requires different choices to be made. So, to make every
choice clear and easy, each List Type, as well as each Link List's Style window is explained on the following, separate pages.
