Section Lists in Action
Using a travel website as an example, let’s review what a Section List
will do when you are in the
"Vacation Planner" section of the site.
In Edit Mode at a cruise travel website, we'll take a look at the site's List of Pages seen to the right. A Section List was added to the top level page of the section called Plan Your Cruise. It is the first page of several related pages, Vacation Planner, Enhancements , followed by the pages beneath both of those headings.
If we had clicked on the plus sign that was in front of Plan Your Cruise, this whole section would have expanded to the point where we see it now. All the pages that are underneath it are visible. Remember, we are in Edit Mode.
The List of Pages is not visible to a website visitor, so let's look at how a visitor can visit these pages.

We'll imagine a visitor will select the page Plan Your Cruise, from the menu of the website, and then go to that page.
The selected page is highlighted in yellow. The pages underneath are links.
Notice there are two sub-pages, Vacation Planner and Enhancements.

Now, let's have our visitor select Vacation Planner. The selected page is again
highlighted in yellow.
Once at the page Vacation Planner, the visitor can see there are now two new pages available for viewing. The new pages are Accommodations and Cruisetours.

This is the way a Section List brings visitors deeper into the website without having to create
a cumbersome menu of webpages.
