6. Click Finish to complete the Add Content wizard. Webtreepro will take you back to your working page, and will have
added a Text Accordion to it. In Edit Mode, the Text Accordion will have a distinctive, blue, dotted border around it. In Published
Mode the border will not be shown.
1. Now to complete the Text Accordion, enter a Title (Parent) of the text within the blue, dotted box on your working page. Your cursor
will be flashing inside the Text Accordion box.
-
We called our example "Title," see below. A better title would be related to the Content on your webpage. For example, if the subject matter of your page pertains to travel deals, a title might be: Click to see all the travel deals available during March. Then, when a visitor expands your text, it woould show a list of travel deals.
2. The Text Accordion Title will display in a white background. This example is in Edit Mode. Here, we see the blue, dotted lines
of the Text Accordion container. The Title (Parent) is the only text showing at this time. Now, we need to insert text.
3. Enter the body of the text (Child) in the gray background that's surrounded with red, dotted lines. Make a right click in the text to bring
up the Text Accordion's flyout.

Select Accordion Regions, and then click Set as child. Click Save . Now, we see the Text Accordion's Title, and the text while
we are still in Edit Mode.
4. To test the Text Accordion, you must be in Published Mode, or click Date Review located in the gray panel to the left of your screen.
It will show:
5. To expand the Text Accordion, click the Plus icon and the Text Accordion will expand, as seen below in Published Mode.
6. To collapse the Text Accordion, click the Minus icon , see arrow.
7. If you decide you want the text shown at all times, make a right click in the text. The Text Accordion flyout will come up, seen at the
bottom of this page. Select Accordion Regions, to see a second flyout.

8. Then, click Remove region and you will delete the feature which enables the Text Accordion's to collapse and expand. The Title
and the Text will be entirely visible both in Edit and in Published Modes.

Note:
As with all newly added Content, the Text Accordion will be located at the bottom of the selected panel. You may want to move the Text Accordion elsewhere. If so, do a right click inside the Text Accordion, and the Details window appears, seen below.
Click Move to... and another flyout appears. Make a selection. In order to move the Text Accordion to its perfect location, this process may need to be repeated. |
