1. Generally, we use a variety of tools when editing. These tools are always seen at the top of the screen, and are available for use on
every page of your site, with one exception. The Form Building Icons can only be used when working on a Form.

If you have placed a Thumbnail Slide Show that is seen on every page of your site,
and you need to edit it, go to the page where it was first created.
If you don't remember where you first created the Thumbnail Slide Show,
go to any page and do a right click in the Slide Show itself.
The Slide Show Properties flyout will appear, seen here.
Then, click Info. The Element Info flyout will appear, seen below.
Look at the Origin Page.
We see the Slide Show was created on the Admin page.
Now, you can go to the Admin page, and edit or delete the Slide Show
following the instructions below.

To edit or delete a Thumbnail Slide Show,
go to the page
where it was originally placed.
In Edit Mode, right click in the Slide Show.

2. The Thumbnail Slide Show Properties flyout offers information and editing choices. Click on each subject to see what is offered.

Info: This offers specific information about the Thumbnail Show, such as the Origin of the site, the Placement (whether it is shown on all pages), who created it, etc.
- Hide: It allows you to hide the Thumbnail Slide Show when it is in Published Mode. This is especially helpful if the Slide Show is not ready to be seen by a visitor. Also, it's handy to use if a Parent site has Content being pushed to a Child site, but doesn't want it seen on the Parent site.
- Opt-in: This is only offered for Child sites. If the Content has been "pushed" from the Parent site, and the Parent has allowed the Content to be "Optional," the Child can choose to Opt-in and receive the optional Content.
- Delete: If you click on this, a "Warning" pop-up will appear, as seen below. Click OK to go ahead and delete the Thumbnail Slide Show. Click Cancel to avoid deleting.

Move to: The arrow allows you to move the Thumbnail Slide Show to different areas on the page. The choices offered are: Up, Down, Move Last. These choices can be used in the current panel. Other choices offer to move the Slide Show to panels outside the current panel, such as, to the Main panel, the Header, the Footer, or to the Menu panel.

1. The Placement tab is where you can change the Thumbnail Slide Show and have it shown on only one page,
or all pages. You cannot change the panel where the Slide Show is placed on this tab. If you want to move the Slide Show,
see Move to... explained above. For more information about the Placement tab, click here.
2. Details has three tabs. We'll discuss these three tabs later in the page. Details is where you can change the Slide Show
characteristics.
3. The Publish Dates tab is where you can change or set Start and Stop Dates to control the visitor's viewing of the Slide Show.

4. The Visibility tab is where you can change who is allowed to see the Slide Show. To see more, click here.
5. The Publishing tab is used if you have Child sites. For more information, click here.
6. Now, click Finish , and your newly edited Thumbnail Slide Show will be in place.
7. To test the Slide Show, you must be in Published Mode, or go to the gray panel to your left and click Date Preview.

Sometimes, you might need to edit in only one of the Page Elements tabs.
Just go to the top of the screen, and click on the tab you need.
Do your editing, and then click Finish .
No matter which tab you are on, the Finish button will save all your changes,
and bring you back to your working page.
You don't have to go through each tab of the Page Elements wizard to leave the wizard. |
Editing the Thumbnail Slide Show; Details tabs
Viewer tab:

1. Image Location: To find the location of the file containing the images you want to change to, click Select located
underneath Image Location. You'll be taken to the Library.
2. Viewer: This is the "container" of the Thumbnail Slide Show.
- Width controls the width of the viewer. Enter a number in pixels to change this setting.
- Height controls the height of the viewer. Enter a number in pixels to change this setting.
- Border controls the width of the border of the viewer. Enter a number in pixels to change this setting.
- Color controls the color of the border around the viewer, and the Background Color of the Slide Show. (To select a color, you must first choose a width for the border.) Enter the color hex code number in the text box, or click on the square to change a color. (The default setting is black.)
3. Placement within Panel controls the position of the viewer in the panel on your page. Using the dropdown arrow, change to
Left, Center or Right.
4. Viewer Padding changes the look of the Slide Show by adding or subtracting pixel spacing all around the Viewer.

Show Options tab:

1. Change the Slide Show to be displayed in a Horizontal or Vertical position.
2. You may have a variety of different sized slides in your folder. Check Resize Images to fit to make all the slides the
same size. Or uncheck the box.
3. To have the Slide Show automatically revolve in a continuous scroll, check the Circular box. Or uncheck the box to stop the
automatic scroll.
4. Autoscrolling will cause the slides to automatically advance. To change this setting, check or uncheck the box.

5. If you have a folder stored in the Library that contains an assortment of "Button" images, you may choose to customize
your own individual Previous and Next buttons by checking the box next to Use Custom Prev/Next buttons.

Then, click in one of the gray boxes. You'll be taken to the Library where you can search for your "Button" folder, open it, choose your "Button," and click "Select" at the bottom of the Library screen. The "Button" image will be inserted in the selected gray box.

File Links tab:

1. The File Links tab will show each slide that is in your Slide Show. You will see 4 slides at a time. If you have more than 4 slides in
your Slide Show folder, page numbers will appear at the bottom of the tab. Click on the subsequent page numbers to see the next
set of four images.
2. If you'd like one or more of the slides to be linked to a page within your site, click Link Image, and by using the dropdown arrow at the
end of Use external Url, select the page within your site by clicking the page's title. The page title will replace Use external URL.
3. If you want a slide to be linked to an external URL, insert the URL in the blank bar under Use external URL.
4. Open in a new window: Click this box if you want the link to be shown on a separate page. Or uncheck this box to have the link
shown on the same page as the Slide Show.
5. Or uncheck any or all Link Image boxes to break any links that were made.
