Question:

Can I put color in the background of a Form?

Answer:

There is not an actual color control within the Form Builder.  However, you can put a Table into a Form, and set a background color for the entire Table, and even for each Cell.

For more information about adding color, see the page Let's Build a Form, Styles, or click here.

If you’ve already built a Form without using the table, you need not start from scratch.  After adding a Table to the existing Form, you can drag the Form controls into the appropriate cells, and you can copy/paste any text using Control-C (copy) and Control-V key (insert) commands on your keyboard.

To set a Background Color:

1.       Right-click on the Table that you have placed inside your Form.  A Page Details flyout appears.

2.       Select Table a second flyout will appear.  Mouse over to Table Properties which will bring up the

Table Properties window, and click.  It will take you to the Table Properties screen which has two tabs.

3.       In the middle of the Table Properties screen is Common Properties and Styles tab.  Click the Styles tab.

4.       In the Background Color and Border color boxes, enter your desired hex color code.  You can also click on

the small box to see the color palette and click on a color choice.  If you don't choose a Border color, the

border will be invisible which may make the table/form appear unfinished.

Note:  You must choose a thickness for the Border before giving it a color.  This choice is made on the

Common Properties tab.
