To Edit or Delete an Article Stored in the Library

To Edit or Delete an Article in the Webtreepro's Library,

go to the gray panel to the left of your screen.

Click on the Library button.

The Library screen comes up, seen here.

 1.   To the left of the Library screen is where the folders are stored.  Choose the folder that contains the Article you want to edit or delete.

      • My Content: These are Articles that are only available for you to use.
      • Site Content:  These are Articles that are available to any authorized user of the website.
      • Shared Content:  These are Articles only available at the parent level, for uploading.  Articles loaded here are available to all child sites.

 2.   If the folder contains different types of files, use the Show dropdown located in the middle of the Library Toolbar.  Show lists all the different types

of files stored.  This is a useful tool to narrow a search rather than go through the entire Library's contents. Click on  "Articles Only"  to shorten

        your search efforts.

 3.   Now, you need to search for the specific Article. There are several ways to search for a particular article by using the Library Toolbar.  For more

information, please refer to the page, How to Search through the Library, or click here.

 4.   Once you've found the Article, select it by clicking in the gray box to the left of the Article's name.

 5.   If the Article is to be deleted, click the Delete button    in the Library Toolbar.

 6.   If you are just editing an Article,  click on Properties located underneath the Library Toolbar.  The Properties screen will appear, as seen

below.  Notice that the name of the Article automatically appears at the top of the screen.

 7.   You may make changes as necessary.  You can change the name of the Article, add or delete Keywords and/or Descriptions.  You can

even move the Article to a different folder.  There is another way you can delete the Article.  See # 10 below.

    8.   When you're finished,  click Save   to save any changes.

    9.   Click Cancel   to leave the Properties screen, without saving any changes.

  10.   Click Delete  to completely remove the Article from the Library.  A "Warning" box will appear.  It will ask if you are sure you

want to delete the Article.  If you are sure, click OK  .
