The website lets you schedule the appearance and disappearance of a page by using a simple calendar control. When adding a page, the default is the page will be visible the moment it is saved, and will have no expiration date. You may want to change the default dates if your page is not ready to be seen, yet. |
|
To delay appearance, enter start and stop dates in two ways:
-
Enter in the dates using the mm/dd/yyyy format (months, days, 4 digit year).
-
Or, you can click on your chosen dates in the calendar.
To temporarily remove the page from viewers, use the Stop Date calendar.
1. Click on a date that is before the current date. On the above calendar, the current date shows July 13. So, to remove the
page from viewers, you would click on July 12. This is especially useful when you have been working on a particular page,
but it is not ready for viewers yet. It removes the page from sight.
2. At a time in the future, when you have perfected this page, remember to go back and enter in, or click on the current date
in the Start Calendar. Click "Finish" . The page becomes visible immediately. But that is in the future, right now,
we need to finish reviewing this page. |
