Understanding Published (Pushed) Pages Behavior
|
Let's say you have a page that has been pushed down
from a Parent site to a Child site.
What exactly can happen to that page, in regards to
the Child Site's editing abilities?
Let's take a look at a few pages from a fictitious travel website.
For more details, see Page Publishing, or click here. |

Organization (Parent) |
Required Page;
Editable |
The Child site is allowed to add local content to this page. The Child site may also edit pushed content from the Parent site that has been marked "editable." The Child site will not be able to edit Content if the Content is marked not editable.
If a pushed page is edited at the Child site, the page becomes a "new edition" of the original. If the "new edition" is deleted, it will be replaced by the original, or the current parent site page.
