When you click it, you will go to a totally different screen.

It will give you the opportunity to evaluate your site,

check your Form Submissions, check all your hyperlinks in your site,

and keep track of your site's roles.

   1.   At the top of the Reports Home page, seen above,  the Site dropdown allows you to choose whichever site you need to review.  Use

the dropdown arrow to select a particular site, or choose All Sites.

   2.   To the right of the Site dropdown, are the dates that are included in the Reports according to the time of your visit. The ending date

will be the current date.  The beginning date will start on the same date, but will be a month prior.   You can see today's date

is July 14, 2010, and the Report screens seen below, started June 14, 2010.

      •  If you require the Reports to show different dates, click the arrow next to the Calendar icon.  A Select Dates window will come

up.  See below.  Using the dropdown arrows next to the calendars, you can choose your own Start Date and End Date for

reporting purposes.  You may want to choose a predefined range date by clicking the Custom Date Range dropdown.

If you choose the Custom Date Range, the dropdown list to the right will appear.

To the left of the Reports' Home page,

is the Reports menu panel.

Each one of these subject headings

offers the results for specific tests.

Let's take a close look

at each subject heading.

   1.   The first title, Visitors, gives you a report of how many people have visited your site, what they did at your site, and how long they

stayed within your site.  Visitors is divided into six sections.  You can click on one section at a time, and Reports will show you

          explicit details of each section.

      • Overview shows you a graph of each section from Total Visits to Dwell Time, but it will not have the depth of an individual report.

      • Total Visits gives you a daily number of visitors who go to your site.

      • Unique Visitors gives you a one time only count of each visitor. This fine tunes the report, as sometimes visitors can repeatedly visit the same site, and give a misleading total of visitors.  Unique Visitors are measured once by their IP addresses.  This one time count is important to site publishers and site advertisers as they need to have an accurate

                    count of visitors.

      • Pageviews gives you the number of visitors and the page they visit.  You can select how to view the results by Date or

by Page by clicking one of the radio buttons that are located under the graph.

      • Dwell Time will tell you how long the visitor stayed at a particular page.

      • Pageviews by Sites will show Pageviews and Unique visitors for each of your sites.

Pageviews by Sites

   2.  Split Tests  is a way to compare different versions of certain pages of your  website.  The results will allow you to evaluate which

version of two pages is more successful in meeting your goals for your website, which page version is more effective, and which

version receives more visitors and/or visitor interaction.

   3.   Form Submissions will give you all the information that comes in from your forms.

   4.   Link Checker allows you to test all your hyperlinks on your site.  It, also, allows you to check one page at a time.

   5.   Role Tracking is a way you can track how long a person stays in a particular role within your website.  Let's say a person seems

interested in purchasing a  franchise from you.  Before you spend a lot of time with this person, you'll want to see if he/she is

          serious.

      • So,  you might give this person permission to see your website, but limit the viewing to a few pages.  We can say this person has a "role" of Step 1.

      • A person who has a "role" of Step 2  will have permission to see a few more pages.

      • A person with a "role" of Step 3 will have permission to see even more pages.

      • Role Tracking measures the length of time a person spends in each "role."

      • So now, you will have information that can help you decide if the person is serious about becoming a franchisee.  In other words, if the person stays in Step 1 for several months, he/she is probably not serious about becoming a franchisee and, therefore, not worth pursuing.
