Publish Dates

The Publish Dates lets you schedule the appearance and disappearance of a page by using a simple calendar control.

  1. Start Date: The current date is automatically selected as the start date. This is the date when the page will begin to display in published mode. You may change this if you wish. If you pick a date that is in the future, this content will not display in published mode until the selected date.

  2. Stop Date:  Check this box if you want your page to expire. Select a date of expiration. On this date, the page will stop displaying in published mode. If you choose a date in the past for this field, the page will no longer display in published mode. You may also choose to leave this box unchecked, if you want your page to remain live indefinitely, with no expiration. To delete the Stop Date and have the page become visible to visitors, just click the Clear button.
    • Any page that has a Stop Date placed on it will appear in the "List of Pages" to the left of your  screen (in Edit Mode) with a calendar icon in front of the page's title.
    • If a page is located under another page and the top page has a Stop Date, you can clear the Stop Date for the page that is underneath, but the page still won't be visible until the Stop Date for the top page is cleared, too.

  3. Expiration Notice: Check this box if you would like to receive an email notification when this page is expiring. Enter your email address and the number of days prior to expiration that you would like to receive the email.

  4. Click Next to move on to the Appearance tab, where you can choose the template and skin for the page.
