Reports

The Reports button can be found in the left side of the Login Panel, next to the Edit/Published Mode toggle button. When you click it, you will go to the Reports screen. From there you will have the opportunity to evaluate your site, review your Form Submissions, check all your hyperlinks in your site, and keep track of your site's roles.

At the top of the Reports screen the Site dropdown field allows you to choose which site to review. Use the dropdown arrow to select a particular child site or the parent site, or choose "All Sites."

To the right of the Site dropdown you will see a date range for your reports. Click on the calendar icon if you'd like to review reports in a different date range.

Types of Reports

On the left side of your screen you will see the Reports menu.

  1. Visitors: Gives you a Report of how many people have visited your site, what they did at your site, and how long they stayed within your site. This report is divided into six sections (click on Visitors to expand): Overview, Total Visits, Unique Visitors, Pageviews, Dwell Time, and Pageviews by Site. The data for all the Visitors reports will be available for a 24 month period.
    • Overview: shows you a graph of each section from Total Visits to Dwell Time, but it will not have the depth of each individual Report. If you want an in-depth report, you must select the appropriate category that's listed under Visitors.
    • Total Visits: gives you a daily number of visitors who go to your site.
    • Unique Visitors: gives you a one time only count of each visitor. This fine tunes the Report, as sometimes visitors can repeatedly visit the same site, and give you a misleading total of visitors. Unique Visitors are measured once  by their IP addresses. This one time count is important to site publishers and site advertisers as they need to have an accurate count of visitors.
    • Pageviews: gives you the number of visitors and the page they visit. You can select how to view the results by Date or by Page by clicking one of the radio buttons that are located under the graph.
    • Dwell Time: will tell you how long the visitor stayed at a particular page. You can view the chart by the Date or by the Page by selecting that particular radio button.
    • Pageviews by Sites: will show Pageviews and Unique visitors for each of your websites.

  2. Split Tests: Allows you to compare different versions of certain pages of your  website. The results will allow you to evaluate which version of two pages is more successful in meeting your goals for your website, which page version is more effective, and which version receives more visitors and/or visitor interaction.

  3. Form Submissions: Gives you all the information that comes in from your forms. There will be a dropdown list that will display your various forms. For more information, see the page Form Submissions, or click here.

  4. Link Checker: Link Checker allows you to test all your hyperlinks on your site. It also, allows you to check one page at a time. The dropdown allows you to choose a certain page. Or you can choose All Pages by clicking that button.

  5. File Library Checker: This allows you to check files that are not linked anywhere in the site. After pressing Save, your request will be added to a queue. You will receive the report to the email(s) you specify in the field. You can choose from three file formats: Pdf, Excel, or Html.

  6. Role Tracking: Allows you to track how long a person stays in a particular role within your website.

  7. Expired Pages: Gives you a list of all the site's pages that have been expired. The report presents the pages in two different categories:
    • Past Expired Pages - These pages have a Stop Date in the Publishing settings that is earlier than the current date.
    • Non-Current Pages - The current date is outside the range set by the Start Date and Stop Date in the Publishing settings.

  8. All Pages: Gives you a total and list of all current (non-expired) pages with URLs for the site selected from the Site drop-down list, separated by Menu pages versus Excluded Pages. This report maintains the page structure and is available whether the site type is public or intranet. It will also display the expiration date for pages that have a Stop Date set in the Page > Visibility settings
    • Parent Site - Includes all pages
    • All Sites and Child Sites - Includes pages published from parent to child

  9. Library Files: Gives you a list of all files uploaded to the library along with other pertinent information, like File ID, File Name, Folder Path, Create/Edit By/Date and whether the file is Public (for Intranet sites and non-image files).
