Miscellaneous Frequently Asked Questions
Question:
I have been working on a page that had a Stop Date. It's ready to be published so, I went to Edit Page Settings and cleared the Stop Date. But now in Published Mode, the page shows up, but the content is missing. When I go into Edit Mode I can see the content.
Answer:
You need to complete two processes. When you cleared the Stop Date on Edit Page Settings, you made the page available for viewing. Now, you also need to make sure the Content doesn't have a Stop Date. To make sure, click on the Content, and then click the "Properties" icon on the editing toolbar. The Add Content wizard comes up. Click on the Published Dates tab, and clear the Stop Date for the Content. Click Finish, then make sure to save the content by clicking the "save" icon. Question:
We would like to restructure our site menu, replacing the "Business Travel" page with the "Beach Vacations" page and I did not see a way to do this.
Answer:
In Edit Mode, select your page "Business Travel" from the List of Pages to the left of your screen. Then, go to Edit Page Settings located in the Editor Panel. The "Page Attributes" tab appears. Check the box "Exclude this page from the menu." The "Business Travel" page will be removed from the menu. Next got o the "Beach Vacations" page and click on Edit Page Settings. Uncheck the box "Exclude this page from the menu." The "Beach Vacations" page will now appear on the menu.
