Content Editing

This is the Content Editing section of the Editing Toolbar:

 Save: Click this icon to save any changes made to the current page element. Keep in mind that this button does not save the entire page. Other page element needs to be saved individually.

  Add content below: Click this icon to add a new page element directly underneath the current element.

  Duplicate article: Click this icon to create a duplicate of the article page element directly underneath the current element, including all formatted text, links, images and element properties (not applicable to Form page element).

  Properties: Click this icon to access the properties of the current page element. Here you can make changes to the placement, publish dates, visibility, and publishing settings.

  Hide element: Click this icon to hide the current page element from view in published mode.

  Delete: Click this icon to delete the page element. Be aware that this will cause the entire page element (article, slideshow, link list, etc.) to be permanently deleted. After you delete a page element, there is no way to restore it from the editor, therefore this button should only be clicked if you are certain you want to permanently delete the content. This button is not available on child sites where content has been pushed down from the parent site. *not available on pushed content on child sites

  Restore content from parent: If you are on a child site and working on a piece of content that has been pushed from the parent site, you will see this icon in place of the Delete icon. Use this icon to undo any changes you made to the page element, and replace it with a copy of the element that exists on the parent site. *only available on pushed content on child sites

  Previous versions: This allows you to view previously saved versions of the current page element. Select one of the previous version to restore it.

  Display info: This displays information about the page element, such as the type of element (article, form, slideshow, etc..), Sharing, Origin site, Origin page, Placement, Start date, Stop date, Visibility, and Created by).

  Move element: Allows you to move the current page element into a different panel.

  Undo: Click this icon to undo your last change. You may also use your keyboard command Ctrl+Z.

  Redo: Click this icon to redo your last change. You may also use your keyboard command Ctrl+Y.
