Forms
When adding a new form, you will see an additional Details tab. Click here for more information about the generic tabs that are shown when adding content.
- Form name: Enter a name for your form. The form will be listed under this name in the form submissions report.
- Enable SSL: If checked, the page’s URL will be replaced with an undecipherable URL.
- Note: This does not affect any links you’ve created, as the original URL will still function.
- Send email notification of form submission to: If checked, enter an email address to have the form submission results emailed every time the form is submitted.
- Send the submitted data in the email: If checked, the form submission data will be included in the email.
- Send email in Plain Text: If checked, the email will be sent in unformatted plain text.
- Send the header information in the email: If checked, the form submission email will include the website URL, Webpage URL, and the name of the form.
- Check if the user is a human and not a bot (captcha control): If checked the form will require users to enter captcha characters before they can submit the form. This is to help with spam submissions. Choose small or large.
- Batch report: Used when forms are too large to display the results in Reports. The results will be sent in an email in excel format.
- Thank you page: If you want the user to be taken to a different page after the form is submitted, use the dropdown field to select the page.
- Thank you message: If you don't want to use a thank you page, you can choose to enter content into this field instead and the message will pop up after the form is submitted. The user will stay on the same page.
