Previous Versions

The Previous Versions tool stores revised content so that you can retrieve previously saved versions of content. These stored versions are available for ninety days. Deleted content cannot be retrieved using Previous Versions.

How to use the Previous Versions Tool

  1. Click on the page element that you wish to restore.
     
  2. Click the Previous Versions icon on the editing toolbar. 
     
  3. You will be taken to a blank new screen.
     
  4. To the right of the screen will be a panel of all the current contents' revisions that have been saved in the past ninety days.
     
  5. The date, time, and the username of the person who did the revisions will be displayed.

     
  6. Devices: Select Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile to view the content as it appears on these devices.
     
  7. Click on the version you wish to recover. A preview of the selected revision will appear on the left side of the screen.
     
  8. Check to see if this is the actual version you wish to recover. If it is not, then make a different selection.
    • Should you decide not to use any previous versions, click the close button at the top right.

       
  9. To restore the selected version, click the Rollback button.

     
  10. That previous version will appear.
     
  11. Click Save (Restoring a Previous Version does NOT automatically save the changes).
     
  12. Note that any other pieces of content on your page will not be altered by the Rollback process. Only the current element will be affected.
